Locations

The concept of a 'location' is as follows. A location is any specific area. For example, it might be a nature reserve. By defining the location it enables recording to be done at a local level. It is also helpful to provide relevant information about each location - such as an account of the history, ecology, and any important species that occur there. Plants are then specififcally recorded from that location so that a checklist may be automatically generated.

Locations may be of national importance or they may be of more local interest. In order to illustrate this concept I have set up one location for Creswell Crags.
